Account research · U.S. contractors and engineering firms
I research U.S. contractors and engineering firms for modeling offices in Latin America and Spain, one company at a time. For each one I document what it needs, since when, and who decides on it.
Current work, as of 15 October 2026: demand for MEP coordination and BIM/VDC modeling at contractors and engineering firms in Florida.
This site stands behind that email.
Marjorie Retamal, of Rancagua, Chile, founder of b2blatam.pro. The same name signs the email you received, this page, and the LinkedIn profile linked above.
No one writes in my name, and I use no other name and no other domain. I publish no email address on this page. That is deliberate: an email with my name and my domain was written by me.
One account file per company. Not a market overview: one company, by name, and what you need in order to come in through the right door.
The need, dated, with the source that states it. Who decides on it, with name and title taken from the company's own pages. And the way in: who to write to, with what argument, and when.
And what has kept it from being covered so far, when the company itself has said so.
And the discards: the names that are no use, each with its reason.
That last part cannot be copied from anywhere. Only someone who already tried and failed, and wrote down why, has it.
Every item in the file is delivered with its verification date in plain sight.
Everything carries a reference and a verification date, and is revalidated on the day it is delivered.
A need is good for three months. A decision-maker, for six.
Past that it is not delivered: it is checked again, or withdrawn. What cannot be confirmed at the source is not delivered. What fails the criterion is discarded. In both cases the reason is reported: you know what was left out and why, and that serves you as much as what went in.
Nothing comes from third parties: every item carries the reference to where the company or the person said it, and you can open it and see for yourself.
I built the system I use so that it does not decide for me: it gathers the material, and the checking and the judgement are mine, file by file.
Each one is reviewed in full, because what matters is not the isolated fact but how that company is behaving. None goes out unless it is impeccable, and that is why there are few.
And that is why each file goes to a single office per country while the need stays open: there is no sense in two of my clients knocking on the same door.
If, within the period, a way in ceases to exist, it is replaced at no cost: with another decision-maker at the same company, or, failing that, with an equivalent file. It applies in two cases only: when the person has left the company and that is stated on the company's pages or on the person's profile, or when the mailbox rejects the message.
That a person does not reply, or replies no, is not a way in that ceased to exist: that is the market's answer, and it is not guaranteed. What is guaranteed is that the door existed and was open on the day you knocked.
The conversation with that company is yours, in your own name and voice. I write on no one's behalf, I do not pitch and I do not negotiate: the file says who, when and with what argument, and the relationship is yours from the first email.
I guarantee that the name, the title and the need were true and current on the day of delivery, and the replacement of a way in within the period, as the standard says. That the person replies, or that there is a contract, no one can guarantee.
I deliver the door that person, in their role, said is the way in. Personal phone numbers, home addresses and anything not published in that role stay out, always.
I deliver the company, the person and the moment: what your sales team needs on Monday morning. Market overviews, rankings and market-size estimates are made by others.
For modeling offices in Latin America and Spain, of five to thirty people, working MEP: coordination and clash detection, or shop-level fabrication detailing of ductwork and piping.
The Florida companies I have documented ask for that, in their own words: VDC, MEP coordination, prefabrication, Revit and Navisworks.
If your office works in architecture and not MEP, what I have documented is of no use to you for now.
If you model architecture and also handle the MEP side, the work available is for that side. I would rather say so before you spend time finding out.
And if your office does MEP, this is for you: knowing, before spending a week of your sales team's time, which door is worth knocking on.

Twenty-three years in the Chilean notarial registry, from 2001 to 2024: the vehicle registry of the Arica y Parinacota region, with the integrated procedure covering tax payment to the national revenue service and inscription at the civil and identification registry. The last audit and inventory of vehicle records I presented to the Court of Appeals of Arica, on a change of the officer of record.
In a notary's office a document with no date and no origin is not taken as good. The same holds here.
Between 2012 and 2020 I exported under my own brand, with the Empresarias Destacadas distinction from DIRECON and ProChile in 2017, and afterwards managed cultural projects between Argentina, Belgium, Spain and China. I sold outside my own country before anyone there knew who I was. That is what lies ahead of whoever is reading this.
If you received a message from me, you already know what I saw in your office and why I wrote to you and not to someone else. That is the conversation, and it continues there.
If you reached this page by another route, here is what I do, by what standard, and who I am. This page asks nothing of you: no details, no form, no time.
I open every conversation myself.
